All the quirky things cool people will be doing at their weddings this year

Dried flowers, abstract stationary and graphic cakes, A Most Curious Wedding Fair has all the stylish wedspo you need...

Earlier this year Pinterest told us that 2019 weddings are going to be all about brides in gold dresses, neon signs and smoke bomb photography.

And if you're on the hunt for more stylish and unique ideas, then look no further as Most Curious Wedding Fair, a showcase for style savvy couples, has shared its 2019 trend predictions ahead of its event in London this weekend.

Take note, brides - and grooms - to be...

Dried flowers

Definitely a trend. Caroline Grimble, Bloom & Wild’s lead florist, previously told us that the trend for dried flowers at weddings is only getting bigger.

While pampas grass took centre stage at Mandy Moore's big day, you should also consider dried star flowers, bunny ear corns and daisies, according to Most Curious.

Dried flowers are an increasingly popular option for winter weddings, Lana Elie, founder of independent florist marketplace Floom, previously told us. "Not only do they allow brides to choose flowers that may not be readily available at that given time of year, they can also be styled days before the event, providing a stress-free alternative to their fresh counterpart," she said.

Graphic cakes

Yes, you need to up your cake game this year. "'Cakes are getting a structural trend update. Architecturally-inspired cakes are the hottest slice," the report reads.

We love the look of this ornate powder pink creation above.

Abstract stationary

Invites are the first glimpse your guests will get of your big day so it's crucial to get it right from the get-go.

Most Curious suggests you opt for "abstract splodges of colour, swipes of paint and organic, free-form shapes" to elevate your wedding stationery game.

Giant wedding hats

If yours is a summer wedding then you want to find yourself a giant wide-brimmed straw hat, according to Most Curious, which can even be combined with a veil if you so wish for a chic take on Bianca Jagger circa 1970.

Milliner Ann-Marie Faulkner, who will exhibit at the Most Curious showcase this weekend, created this très chic look above.

Make your own rings

Many jewellers allow you to personalise your wedding rings by picking the style, metal and stones, but why not take this a step further and physically make them yourselves? Companies like The Workbench London and The Quarter Workshop in Birmingham offer this – how romantic.

Peaky Blinder grooms

We love this trend for obvious reasons. Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham channelled their inner Peaky Blinder at VB's latest collection, so why can't you do the same on your big day?

"This year it's about partying like it’s 1919," according to Most Curious. Go for three-piece suits, complete with pocket watch – baker boy hats optional.

Chunky gold bridal jewellery

A pair of chunky gold hoops are the perfect statement on your wedding day, according to Most Curious. "Check out giant hammered golden earrings in hand-cut squiggles from Lennie Beare or freeform pieces by Phoebe Simpson and Niza Huang," it says, and the good news is they'll all be exhibiting at the upcoming showcase.
