Handy: Laser’s new Ratchet Tap Wrench

It’s almost time to clean the winter muck off your car, or get your classic ready for the spring.

One of my favourite cleaning gadgets is Karcher’s redesigned window vac. It’s the best way of removing moisture or condensation from glass that I’ve found. Used in conjunction with the detergent applicator (with the Premium model), it’s a great way to thoroughly clean grimy windows.

The latest WV2 (£59.99) model is now lighter and shorter for better access in tight spots.

Motorists will probably want the Premium model (£79.99) that includes not only a liquid cleaner but an additional narrow vacuum head. More at karcher.co.uk.

Wrench offers handy solution

If you’re not cleaning you might be fixing, and if you’re seeing to dirty or damaged threads or cutting new internal threads on your motorcycle or car, you might want Laser’s handy new Ratchet Tap Wrench.

Solidly made and costing from around £20, they are about 110mm long and the range comes in different sizes, covering tap sizes from 3mm up to 12mm. More at lasertools.co.uk.
