An American TikTok user has outraged Brits by her video of cooking "British eggs" by adding whipped cream, sugar, and microwaving them .

Social media user @jchelle36, - whose real name is Michelle, posted a video on social media, writing: "Today this American girl will be making British eggs."

The video showed her following a bizarre recipe to make what appeared to be scrambled eggs - by mixing eggs, salt, pepper, and sugar, and then microwaving them for two minutes.

In the video, she says: "Hey guys so after my last video I got a lot of questions about trying an English breakfast, so today I am going to make you some British eggs.

"So first you want to get your eggs out of the fridge, then you want to crack them, put them in a bowl, add a little salt, add a little pepper, add a little sugar, add a little whipped cream. Whisk it together, put them in the microwave, set it for two minutes. And that's how you cook British eggs!"

Michelle, a nurse, who goes by "Traveling Family of Five" on YouTube - shared the video on Saturday, and it has since gone viral TikTok and Twitter, appalling British users.

Hundreds of Brits shared the video, voicing their disgust at the recipe, or their admiration for Michelle's trolling.

"Fair play, she's found a way of trolling an entire country," one person wrote. "Obviously this is a war crime, I think she might know that though..."

Another Twitter user wrote: "This is genuinely funny. However, should you come to the UK, a lengthy prison sentence with no prospect of parole awaits you. Our sense of humour has limits....."

This is not Michelle's first time to cause controversy here. Two weeks ago, she trolled the UK with her video of "hot tea, or British tea", by microwaving cold water, then pouring in far too much milk, and then finally adding the teabag and a mountain of sugar.

The video, which was shared thousands of times on social media, offended Brits, with one person branding her a "monster" and another calling it "the worst cup of tea ever made".

Michelle previously caused uproar with a video of her making "American tea", by boiling a large pot of cold water on the stove, and then adding only two teabags, before heaping it with sugar and adding more cold tap water and refrigerating it.
