How long does it take you to get bored with having sex with a partner?
It's not easy to make a marriage work — as Ronan Keating is finding out. It has taken 12 years but it seems he has got itchy feet and he and his wife, Yvonne, have announced their separation. Now reports have come out linking Ronan to a much younger dancer, 26-year-old Francine Cornell. Of course, there could be any number of reasons why Ronan's marriage has broken down but lots of us will have surely experienced a 12-year — or perhaps even four-year or four-month — itch. So I went to Soho to find out just how long it takes before Londoners get bored with having sex with a partner.
ONE SESSION, OR YEARS

It depends how good or bad they are. If they're bad, once. If they're good, longer. I would guess years, although if there's no improvement it's eventually going to go south.
IT DEPENDS

It's a complicated answer. It depends on the person and how much you are in love with them. If it's the right guy, never. For everybody else it would depend how good the sex is.

I have a terrible track record of, after three years, either dumping them or cheating on them with someone who is better at sex.

If it's really bad sex, then about 10 minutes.
