Beyoncé teams up with Peloton to offer Queen Bey-approved workouts

Peloton has announced a new partnership with Beyoncé to create themed bootcamp, strength and spin workouts available on the app. 

Beyoncé is the most requested artist by Peloton’s global community of more than 3.6 million members, the tech company said. 

The new classes span multiple fitness categories, including indoor cycling, running, strength, bootcamp, yoga and meditation, and can be accessed via the app through the Peloton Bike, Bike+ and Tread+, or non-members can sign up to the 30-day free app trial to access classes without equipment. 

The multi-year partnership is to commemorate Homecoming Season, an annual American tradition and celebration for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Beyoncé revealed in a statement that she has been a Peloton member for years.

“Peloton and I both believe that the power of music can help uplift, motivate and inspire those on their fitness journeys,” she said. “I’ve been a Peloton member for several years, and I’m excited to partner with a company that helps people, young and old, be the best versions of themselves, in an innovative and adaptable way. I’m proud to celebrate the students at HBCUs with this donation, to encourage them to find and embrace their own wellness regimens.”

The brand said that it will continue to work closely with Beyoncé in the coming months on “various forms of class curation across all workout disciplines, touching on areas of importance to her, including music, movement, fitness and wellness.”

Peloton and Beyoncé are also gifting two-year Peloton digital memberships to students at 10 HBCUs by the end of November.
