Taylor Swift took a break from her Eras Tour to attend the iHeartRadio Music Awards in LA on Monday night, where she was honoured with the Innovator Award.

The Anti-Hero singer skipped the red carpet but still made the whole place shimmer when she popped up inside the ceremony wearing a dazzling teal rhinestone hooded jumpsuit from Alexandra Vauthier’s Spring Summer 2023 Haute Couture Collection.

Designed in homage to Grace Jones, the one-piece flatters with a draped gathered waist and 80s power shoulders. Swift styled it as it had been on the runway in Paris back in January, with matching pointy rhinestone boots, and added to the futuristic vibe with metallic nails, shimmery silver eye makeup and poker straight hair.

Swift has worn Alexandre Vauthier’s designs before, most notably a tuxedo-inspired dress that she chose for the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Her friend and tour mate Phoebe Bridgers, who wore a black silk dress with floral corsage at the neck, presented Swift with the award. She said she discovered Swift while listening to country radio with her mother: “I’m grateful that I’ve grown up in a world with Taylor Swift in it,” she said.

Swift meanwhile thanked iHeartRadio in her speech for "shining a light on the choices I made that worked out, the ones that turned out to be good ideas."

"But I really, really want everyone to know, especially young people, that the hundreds or thousands of dumb ideas that I’ve had are what led me to my good ideas," she continued.

Past recipients of the Innovator Award include Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, U2, Bruno Mars, Chance the Rapper and Alicia Keys.
