As well as the stunning gowns worn by Hollywood's elite at the Oscars on Sunday night, there were the inevitable fashion fails on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre.
Leading the pack of stars who just got it plain wrong were Anna Kendrick, Lady Gaga and Liza Minnelli.
The usually stylish Twilight actress Anna Kendrick wore a black number by designer J.Mendel that went over the top with a thigh-high split, sheer panelling and embroidered red detailing. Lady Gaga tried to do smart but missed a trick with her sickly pink Versace strapless gown and matching chiffon neck scarf.
Liza Minelli failed to impress in a royal blue silk trouser suit and even added a matching blue streak to her hair.
