London supermodel Jourdan Dunn was vision in flowing white silk this afternoon when she opened the Topshop show at London Fashion Week.

The high-street chain unveiled the latest collection from its premium-priced Unique label in a white washed marque in Bedford Square.

A feeling of weightlessness dominated the show. Soft, airy fabrics with sheer details were its mainstay.

The palette - predominantly white, nude and sparkling metallic silver - placed this collection in springtime which, not surprisingly, is when it will arrive in store.

Standout pieces included a leather-fronted pair of wide-leg trousers in silver. A slouch suit with a 3/4 length jacket also stood out. The store's Unique offering is overseen by former Vogue editor Kate Phelan who was appointed creative director last year.

The label which was once best known for its Eighties-inspired silhouettes and garish prints has undoubtedly matured in Phelan's care. Light, clean and noticeably mature, next season's Unique offering may well entice the over-thirties back into Phillip Green's chain.
