Did you see the orange sequin and red feathered one-shoulder thigh-slit dress that Lena Dunham wore to attend the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood UK premiere in Leicester Square last night?

Custom made for her by Italian label 16Arlington, the sizzling sequin spectacular was a refreshingly audacious red carpet choice from the Girls star.

Dunham, who recently wrote an article for the Guardian about Love Island, in which she referred to how difficult the last nineteen months have been since her break-up with musician Jack Antonoff, gave a message loud and clear: After months of difficult dates, a short-lived engagement and a quiet, romance-free summer in Wales filming upcoming HBO series Industry, Lena Dunham is BACK - and more fabulous than ever.

Dunham’s Instagram caption from the night said it all: “She rose like a phoenix from the ashes, bitches... and ended up in London.”

16Arlington was founded in September 2017 by Italian couple Marco Capaldo and Federica Cavenati and in a few short years has made a name for itself as a go-to destination for high-octane, sequin and feather-heavy partywear.

Dunham also chose the brand for the premiere's afterparty, rocking a black sequin mini with black feathered hem.

The brand, which joined the London Fashion Week schedule for the first time in February, is only in its fourth season, and yet it’s already stocked on FarFetch, Barneys, Luisa Via Roma, The Modist, Net-a-Porter and Moda Operandi (to name a few) and has been worn by an impressive list of celebrities, including the likes of Lady Gaga, Claire Foy, Naomie Harris and Jorja Smith.
