Good F’row: what the fashion editors wear to the shows

When it comes to London Fashion Week, what happens on the catwalk is only half the story. The other half belongs to the people in attendance. Thanks to the phenomenon of street style – with its ever-present bloggers and photographers there to document each fashionable footstep – the looks on the street are just as much on show as the scheduled designers.

But while the majority of us mere mortals were sweating it out weeks ago over the all-consuming question – “WHAT am I going to wear?” – for others, London fashion week is just another date in the Smythson diary. Beyond the bunny ear hats and blue lipstick are those at the heart of the British fashion industry, for whom dressing well isn’t about an occasion, it’s simply the only way they know. So we took to the streets to find out what some of the capital’s most revered editors, directors and stylists have cherry-picked from their well-stocked wardrobes this fashion week. Jealous, us?
