Known for being a style icon both on and off the catwalk, on red carpets and the front row, Gigi Hadid never fails to look effortlessly cool. The double denim trend can be hard to get right, but is one she favours time and time again.

A fan of high waisted jeans and cropped cotton tops Gigi has been regularly seen in double denim of late, often favouring her straight cut Sandro jeans.

During Paris Fashion Week this season the modern-day supermodel was seen rocking double denim again, this time with sock boots, a cross body bag, a cropped turtleneck and an oversized belt.

Here’s how to get Gigi’s high fashion look on a high street budget.

The jeans

A high waisted straight leg jean with a cropped ankle is essential to get this look. These Zara jeans retail for £39.99.

The jacket

This oversized distressed denim jacket is currently on sale for £15.99 at Zara and could easily double up as a denim dress teamed with a poloneck and trainers.

The top

This camel coloured cropped ribbed frill jumper from misguided only £9 and perfect paired with nude heels and double denim.

The boots

A soft sock fit ankle boot from online retailer Public Desire, these £39.99 ankle boots have a stacked wooden heel and flattering rounded toe.

The sunglasses

These simple round £99 specs by Kylie Minogue at Specsavers are the perfect compliment for the dressed down vibe.

The belt

To finish off the look a nude belt with a large gold buckle is key, with this western inspired £12 belt from Asos fitting the bill perfectly.
