Fashion scents

The average catwalk show lasts about nine-and-a-half minutes — blink and you’ll miss it. But Meadham Kirchhoff have got a few tricks up their sleeve to make the memories last. Aside from having one of the most infamously spectacular showcases on the London Fashion Week schedule, the design duo have also employed the services of London perfumer Penhaligon to fragrance their catwalk. The Milanese have reshuffled their Fashion Week schedule, which means Versace’s sister label Versus will now unveil its collection tonight. Cue cheers of joy from those who usually depart the city on Saturday — ie, us. Designed by our very own Christopher Kane, left, Versus is rapidly becoming one of the hottest shows in the Italian part of the fashion month, particularly with those who favour the Scot’s innovative approach to cut and texture.
