Bright and bold was the order of the night at this year's Emmy Awards, as TV starlets dazzled on the red carpet in a magnificent rainbow of gowns.
The finest young things on television paraded before the cameras in lemon yellows, aqua, acid pinks and fabulous prints at the industry's biggest annual awards ceremony held on Sunday night at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.
A splendid evening of golden gong winners was richly reflected in the outfits chosen by attendees from Heroes' star Hayden Panettiere and Homeland actress Clare Danes to the cast of Downton Abbey.
