She was appointed as CEO of Coast just 18 months ago, but the previous head of clothing at Marks & Spencer, Kate Bostock, has injected her new vision for the brand's evolution very clearly as its spring/summer 2015 campaign is released.

While being famous for its dressy occasion-wear and party pieces, Bostock has brought a fresher, more wearable and much more accessible feel to Coast.

Concentrating on fit, quality and - most noticeably - a broad range of choice, the brand now offers pieces for different body types, sizes, ages and all at affordable price points. The change in direction reflects the ever-changing approach to dressing up, with more separates and statement accessories joining the company, in addition to - as opposed to replacing - their popular variety of dress styles.

The latest collection boasts a number of versatile, un-fussy pieces that offer a polished and glamorous look but can also be paired with everyday pieces for a more relaxed and comfortable look.

Speaking of the collection, CEO Kate Bostock said: "This season's collection reflects the way our customer wants to shop."

"Dressing up can be for work, the weekend, or a night out with the girls. It’s no longer just about those big one off special occasions."

"With this in mind, we offer the Coast customer choice; whether you want a show-stopping maxi dress or more relaxed and versatile pieces, our whole collection is designed to make you look and feel fantastic."

Launching today, the collection - starting at £35 for womenswear and £12 for accessories - is available from all Coast stores and online at coast-stores.com.
