Biba designer promises Asda range

The woman who founded fashion firm Biba today claimed it was now "too expensive". Barbara Hulanicki attacked House of Fraser, which spent millions relaunching the Biba label, for failing to reflect the original Biba style and said she is going to relaunch a low-price line for supermarket Asda.

"The prices at Asda are just amazing," she told Drapers. "These will really be Biba prices. F*** you [House of Fraser]."

Her collection for Asda will launch in November and will initially include about 12 designs.
