The sartorial stars were out in force at last night’s Grammy Awards.

The 63rd annual award ceremony, which took place outdoors in Los Angeles in adherence with Covid-19 guidelines, was all about pushing the boat out.

Fashion chameleon Harry Styles, who was the first performer at last night’s show with his summer-ready anthem of Watermelon Sugar, set the bar high with two Gucci ensemble ensembles, which he complimented with two pastel-hued feather boas. Flexing his fashion muscles, underneath his first Clueless-inspired offering, the star sported a muted sweater vest with a plunging neckline.

Styled by his go-to stylist Harry Lambert, the Manchester native also ensured that each hand was stacked with as many rings as possible, including his ‘H’ and ‘S’ alphabet Chloé rings which he is rarely seen without.

Elsewhere in the Gucci camp was Billie Eilish, who took home the coveted gong for Record of the Year for the second year in a row. The 19-year-old sported a head-to-toe grey and pink brocade ensemble, complete with matching bucket hat and mask as well as seriously OTT talons. How 2021 of her.

Meanwhile Beyoncé proved that an LBD is never, ever a bad idea – particularly when making Grammys history. The Black Parade songstress won her 28th Grammy last night for best R&B performance for the song, giving her the most Grammys won by any female artist in history. The off-the-shoulder leather mini was a custom Schiaparelli creation designed by creative director Daniel Roseberry, which the star paired with XXL Zoom-ready bling, matching black leather Opera gloves and black tights.

Injecting a breath of fresh air into the fashion proceedings was Lizzo, who sported two lurex liquid metallic custom Balmain frocks, which her stylist, Brett Alan Nelson, intended to mirror the old-school glamour of Diana Ross and Cher. Dua Lipa, who also performed during the event, wore yet another Versace dress, this time in a shimmering pink hue which she added her own spin to with a silver face mask.
