After arriving in her homeland of Australia earlier this month wearing a T-shirt that read Say 'I do' Down Under, rumours circulated that perhaps Margot Robbie and boyfriend Tom Ackerley's nuptials were more imminent than first thought.
The 26-year-old actress has been in a relationship with her British assistant director boyfriend since 2014 after meeting him on the set of Suite Française.
The pair married earlier this week in a private ceremony in Byron Bay.
Revealing the news, Robbie posted an Instagram photo brandishing her newly-bejeweled wedding finger with no caption.
The wedding tops off what has been a busy year for the actress, having starred in Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, The Legend of Tarzan and Suicide Squad.
After beginning her acting career in Australian soap Neighbours, Robbie made her move to Hollywood in 2011 and was rewarded with a plethora of impressive roles.
A CV boasting the likes of About Time, Wolf of Wall Street and Focus, she has starred alongside Hollywood giants Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Rachel McAdams and Will Smith.
But it is not only her acting that has earned her legions of fans, with her keen eye for fashion making her red carpet appearances all the more anticipated.
