Alexa Chung says it is a “dream come true” to put on her first catwalk show on the official schedule for London Fashion Week.

The presenter and model will present her Spring/Summer 2019 collection on Saturday morning.

The ALEXACHUNG brand draws on her own style and inspirations Jane Birkin, Brian Jones, David Hockney and David Bowie.

Chung, who has been a regular on the LFW front rows, said: “I’ve been fortunate enough to attend many London Fashion Week shows and it never gets boring. The energy and eclecticism of British fashion is what makes it such a unique and exciting part of the larger fashion calendar.

“To show within this context is therefore a dream come true and I can’t wait to see our concept for the show become a reality. Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be fun.” Chung launched her label in May last year with a star-studded off-schedule show and party at the Danish Church in Regent’s Park.

Victoria Beckham is also making her London Fashion Week schedule debut this year. She usually presents her shows in New York but is bringing her new collection home this year to celebrate her brand’s 10-year anniversary.
