Fear not, because Westfield Stratford may just have answered every hypebeast’s prayers with the launch of the world’s first ever streetwear and ‘athleisure’ rental service.
The pop-up concept store, The Drop, opens on Thursday 6th December and will run until 16th December.
The edit has been curated by celebrity stylist Alizé Demange, and will feature all the most-hyped streetwear items: from the likes of Supreme, Dirty South, Maharishi, Oh Hey Girl, Gramm, WWW, Axel Arigato, MISHBHV, Nike and Ryan Hawaii, among others. Items start from £10 and can be rented for four or seven days.
All profits from the pop-up will go to Save the Children’s Big Up Uganda initiative led by Ambassador Adwoa Aboah and her best friend, Felix Cooper. The initiative will help provide children with access to psycho-social care, train teachers and equip schools, build child-friendly spaces, support women and girls, and build support networks for families in refugee camps in Uganda.
Now you can get that Supreme bum bag, take the all-important Instagram money shot and return it a few days later without ever having to stump up the full price of the item. Not only that, you can do the whole thing whilst supporting an incredibly worthy cause.
