Harry Styles is set to make another splash on American television as the singer was spotted in Los Angeles, ziplining across a crosswalk with talk show host James Corden. The moment is believed to be part of an upcoming episode of The Late Late Show and a few lucky fans managed to see the moment live, with videos and pictures of the antics surfacing online.

Styles was filmed by a fan at a Los Angeles crosswalk dangling from a wire, as Corden (dressed as a cloud) dragged the singer across it by his feet.

Styles seemed to take it in stride - or rather, in flight - as he threw his head back and sang into a microphone. A backdrop carried by fellow clouds followed him.

The ziplining moment wasn’t the only one to catch fans eyes, as an unsuspecting fan got a front row seat to a live performance of Styles’ new hit Lights Up.

Styles was seen singing in the middle of the crosswalk as Corden danced around him in yellow lycra alongside backup dancers.

One of the biggest productions seemed to be a performance of Styles' new track Watermelon Sugar, which saw dancers carry around watermelon umbrellas as real palm trees on rolling platforms lined the road.

A Twitter user shared a video of the performance and wrote, "Just when you think you've seen it all here comes Harry Styles singing in the middle of dancing watermelons with James Corden dressing as one."

Fans on Twitter also posted pictures of pink flyers that were distributed to those nearby, which promoted it as a live concert performance. It read, “Live in CONCERT...Harry Styles in the CROSSWALK (at Beverly and Genesee) TODAY! He’ll DRIVE you crazy!!!”

Instead of a picture of Styles however, Justin Bieber’s face was plastered on the poster.

Another fan shared a video of Corden coming over to personally stick a Styles flyer on their windshield, which featured a picture of Styles carrying a puppy.

Styles was also seen being directed by Corden at one point, after which the pair shared an emotional embrace.

A cue card in the background read, "But make it look candid. Do a Kardashian."

The segment appears to be a riff on one of Corden’s Crosswalk Musical segments, which has previously seen the show recreate Beauty and the Beast and more recently Frozen with Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad take part. The Frozen episode was shared on YouTube yesterday and saw Corden upstage Menzel (who plays Elsa in the show), opting to play Elsa himself and forcing her into the role of Sven the reindeer.

Styles has previously featured in other The Late Late Show sketches, including Carpool Karaoke as well as a viral dodgeball skit alongside other members of his former band One Direction. In fact, Styles actually stepped in to host Corden's show when the Gavin and Stacey's star went into labour in 2017 with just two and a half hours notice.

While hosting the show, Styles said, "I was sitting at home two hours ago in this suit, obviously. I got the call Jules was going into labour so James naturally called the funniest man he knew…he obviously wasn’t available."
