Demi Lovato spared no expense for a recent weekend getaway, which also showed an extreme dedication to social-distancing.

Over the weekend, the singer and her boyfriend, Max Ehrich, stayed in Joshua Tree at the famous ‘Invisible House.’

All of the walls of the 5,500 square foot property are mirrored glass, allowing visitors to take in all-encompassing views of the desert without anyone else seeing inside the home.

The Invisible House

The Sci-fi-esque Invisible House looks more like a skyscraper lying on its side than an actual home. But the massive space includes three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a 100-foot indoor pool that’s lined with changing colored lights.

The Invisible House is just two hours southeast of Los Angeles, and it can be rented for $1,000 an hour.

But there's a catch - the property is required to be rented for at least 12 hours, according to its Peerspace listing, elevating the price tag to a minimum of $12,000.

You’ll also want to set aside an additional $1,000 an hour if you plan to use the Smart House voice-activated electronics, including lights and televisions. And tables and chairs appear to be BYOB on the Peerspace listing too.

Lovato shared a series of pictures with her boyfriend on Instagram, where she noted that the property had actually been rented for a work project - though it looks like she still made some time to explore the desert and relax by the pool.

“Had an amazing weekend in the magical desert of Joshua Tree with my love @maxehrich,” Lovato wrote.

“I went to work on a project but it was so nice to get away for a couple days.. thank you for making me so happy my dear.. I love going on adventures with you.”

Because of its gorgeous views and private setting, the Invisible House is available to rent for filming, photo shoots and even weddings.
