French luxury ready-to-wear house Chloé launched its signature ’fume in 2008. It was a beguiling blend of dewy peony, freesia, rose, lily-of-the-valley, cedar and amber that earned it instant cult status, flying from the shelves of the world’s chicest department stores.

No doubt thanks to its clever ability to tightrope between bold and understated, seductive and low key, feminine and androgynous, not to mention its highly desirable positioning as a (relatively) affordable means to dip a toe into the brand’s chic, confident, pulled-together Parisian aesthetic.

This month sees a rather lovely and ravishingly scented Chloé market cart park up on the womenswear floor at Liberty London in W1. Its raison d’etre? A celebratory pop-up paying homage — this time around — to the brand’s eponymous 20-part Atelier Des Fleurs collection.

Should you, for some reason, be unfamiliar with this particular line, beauty editor favourite Atelier Des Fleurs challenges the world’s master perfumers — think Fanny Bal, Marypierre Julien and Steve Guo — to transform their fondest floral memories into elegant scents, that when worn alone or layered together lend the impression of armfuls of bountiful foliage, or freshly clipped flowers with very beautiful and highly bespoke results.

Testament to the house’s long-loved floral olfactory signature, the pop-up will also welcome a trio of new additions to the range including the easy breezy Hysope, the sunny, silky-smooth Immortelle — a flower found scattered along the pathways of the Mediterranean — and the beautifully woody Chêne, a tribute to the mighty oak, King of the Trees.

Swing by to discover the entire collection as well as to have the opportunity to create your very own floral fragrance bouquet.

We’ll see you there.
