Woman held after boy and girl are found dead in car

A woman was arrested today after the bodies of two children were found in a car.
Police said the 43-year-old was being held on suspicion of murder after officers found the boy and girl, both aged under five, inside the car in Heathfield, East Sussex.
The woman had visited Heathfield police station to report "an incident". The car was discovered at 11.46am.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "An investigation is now under way and the area around the scene is cordoned off."
