Win tickets to the LFF premiere of Fast Food Nation

5 April 2012

The UK premiere of Fast Food Nation takes place in Leicester Square on Saturday 28 October at 8.30pm as part of The Times BFI 50th London Film Festival and we have a pair of Gala tickets to giveaway.

Starring Bruce Willis, Greg Kinnear and Avril Lavigne, the film is a dramatisation of Eric Schlosser's exposé of the junk food industry.

The film focuses on the the midwestern US own of Cody, home to a huge meatpacking plant, where cynical business practices and the exploitation of illegal Mexican migrant workers are the order of the day.

Don Henderson, a marketing rep for a major burger chain, is sent to investigate contamination in the company's meat supply. Everyone he meets there has some connection with fast food, whether working in the industry, profiting from it or protesting against it. As his eyes are opened, so too are ours.
