WIN THE CHANCE TO MAKE THE NEXT 11TH HOUR WITH RAINDANCE

5 April 2012

The 11th Hour, out now on DVD, is a powerful and inspiring environmental documentary; motivating audiences to take personal action against global warming and informing them about practical ways of doing so. Produced and presented by key environmental campaigner, Leonardo DiCaprio, the film urges the population to take a look at where we have been, where we are going, and most crucially, how we can change.

CELEBRITIY FILMMAKERS
Leonardo DiCaprio isn't the only well-known face to put blood, sweat and tears behind a pet project – Clint Eastwood worked tirelessly on his ambitious back-to-back filming of Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima; Robert Zemeckis lobbied extensively to work up 3D technology in Polar Express; Brad Pitt invested heavily in The Assassination of Jesse James; Oliver Stone infamously pushed for Alexander for years before it was finally made, as did Tim Burton with innovative Corpse Bride, and Morgan Spurlock risked health and relationships to show the perils of junk food in Supersize Me.

FOLLOW IN THEIR FOOTSTEPS
To encourage others to explore and capture what they are passionate about on camera, Warner Bros., makers of The 11th Hour, have teamed up with This Is London and Raindance to offer one lucky person the chance to win a place on its 'Lo To No Budget' Filmmaking course.

The course will teach the winner how to shoot, edit and direct a feature film cost-effectively, as well as how to develop a plan for submitting the footage to film festivals and distributers.
