Waitress says Wood calls her from rehab

Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova spoke out for the first time about her fling with Ronnie Wood to say: "I love him."

The 20-year-old, who has flown back to London from the Rolling Stone's home in County Kildare, Ireland, said she is still speaking to him while he is in the Priory rehab centre.

She said there is a "chance of happiness" between her and 61-year-old Wood - despite the fact that he is said to be trying to save his marriage to wife Jo.

Miss Ivanova added: "I will never betray him." She told The Sun: "I need to speak to Ronnie. My life's been turned upside down by all this. My mum's health has suffered and I just want all of this to go away. I love him and I'm standing by him."

However, friends of the alcoholic say the relationship between the pair was "based on nothing but vodka".

Miss Ivanova mother, Irina, said that her daughter fell for Wood after her own family fell apart. Mrs Ivanova, who moved to Britain when her daughter was eight, said she "lost control" of Miss Ivanova and she ended up working in the Capricorn escort club in Goodge Street - where she met the guitarist.
