Tube tours to recall the Blitz

12 April 2012

The "ghost" Tube station at Aldwych, a night-time refuge from the Blitz for hundreds of Londoners, will open to visitors to mark the 70th anniversary this month of the start of the Second World War air raids.

The station was closed in 1994 but the London Transport Museum will run tunnel tours from September 24-26. Tickets at ltmuseum.co.uk
