The family of Britain's oldest smoker, who died aged 102 after a lifetime of 170,000 cigarettes, has paid tribute to her life.

Winnie Langley started smoking aged seven and developed a five-a-day habit, even lighting a cigarette from her 100th birthday cake. She quit a year before her death on July 27 because of failing eyesight.

Anne Gibbs said her great aunt, who was from New Addington, was stubborn with a great sense
of humour.
