Ted Baker goes repellent

13 April 2012

Ted Baker is to dedicate a central London store to its specialist "Endurance" clothing range, it announced today.

The Covent Garden store will open in the next few weeks and will stock suits, ties and shirts made of crease-resistant and liquid repellent fabrics, as well as mosquito-repellent T-shirts.

It will be the first time the London-based retailer has dedicated a store to a particular range of clothing.

Finance director Lindsay Page said the Covent Garden Endurance store - based on the range which was launched in 1999 - would open in mid-April.

"The Endurance collection has been enormously successful and I expect it will be a great success in a retail format," he said.
