‘Suicide watch’ for Spain hotel deaths mother

A mother accused of murdering her two children in a Spanish hotel was on suicide watch today.
Lianne Smith, 44, was under 24-hour supervision at a hospital unit in a Spanish prison after a court in Manchester convicted her partner Martin Smith, a 45-year-old TV psychic, of a string of child sex offences against a girl.
Lianne Smith said she would commit suicide if he was convicted. She has confessed to killing Rebecca, five, and Daniel, 11 months, in May.
