Soros share dealing accusation

MULTI-MILLIONAIRE George Soros, who went on trial in France last week for alleged insider trading, was accused of share price manipulation in the US by the Securities and Exchange Commission a decade before the alleged offences on the Paris stock exchange.

Financial News magazine claims Soros and his company SFM, who neither admitted nor denied the alleged offences in 1979, paid back profits on the trades.
