Schools are still serving junk food

Schools are undermining "healthy eating" lessons by continuing to serve junk food.

Separate surveys of primary and secondary schools sounded the same warning. While they are making fruit and vegetables available, chips and burgers remain on the menu.

Chief schools inspector David Bell today expresses "serious concerns" about the diets of primary school children after a report by the Ofsted watchdog.
