School teacher is killed in honeymoon crash

13 April 2012

A former London teacher has died while on honeymoon in Mozambique.

Jennie Marsh suffered fatal injuries after her husband Nick, 26, an England seven-a-side rugby player, swerved to avoid a goat which ran in front of the couple's 4x4.

They were in Africa to work for a Christian-charity as part of an extended honeymoon.

Mrs Marsh, a former teacher at the Colville School in Notting Hill, died the day after she celebrated her 26th birthday in April, an inquest in Gloucester heard today. The coroner recorded a verdict of accidental death.
