RETAILING giant Royal Ahold plans a e2.5bn (£1.7bn) rescue rights issue to rebuild its balance sheet after the accounting scandal that earned it the sobriquet Europe's Enron. Chief executive Anders Moberg also promised e2.5bn of disposals at the Dutch-based group by 2005.
