Richmond has winter licked

13 April 2012

BRITAIN'S biggest ice cream maker has made a profit in the winter months for the first time. Richmond Foods, which makes one out of every two ice cream tubs sold in this country, increased sales by 22% to £51.5m in the half year to 28 March. The company swung from losses of £199,000 to profits before tax of £2.07m in the half year.
