Richer pensioners face care bill 'tax'

Wealthy pensioners could be forced to pay more than £20,000 under a scheme to cover long-term care.

Health Secretary Andy Burnham is considering a graduated system of insurance premiums for the plan to meet the cost of looking after people in their old age.

Options proposed include a compulsory insurance sum paid upon retirement.
