Premier Foods cuts float price

13 April 2012

BRITISH grocery supplier Premier Foods has lowered the price range for its London flotation due to weak demand, trading and banking sources said on Monday.

The price tag for Premier Foods, whose brands include Typhoo Tea and Branson Pickle, has been dropped to 215-230p per share from 230-260p.

The amount the company will raise from the offering has been lowered to about £120m ($223m) from £130m.

JP Morgan, ABN AMRO and Merrill Lynch are joint bookrunners and joint global coordinators of the offer. The company was not immediately available to comment.
