Police seize Vinnie's guns

13 April 2012

Soccer hardman Vinnie Jones has had his shotguns taken from him by the police, it was revealed today.

Jones, the star of gangster movie Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, a keen shooting fan, had his firearms licence revoked by Hertfordshire Police.

It follows Jones's conviction last week of an air-rage attack, when he screamed at fellow passengers: "I can get you murdered, I can get the whole crew murdered for £3,000."

He also threatened to "eat the face" of a passenger.

A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire Police said: "His firearms licence has been revoked. It was done this week. He cannot legally keep firearms."
