Oil price highest since Iraq war

WORLD oil prices set a fresh post-Iraq war high in Asia today, fuelled by worries over the impact on US oil stocks of another Arctic weather front.

US light crude futures in electronic trade touched $35 a barrel for the first time since the run-up to the invasion of Iraq.
