Nicole's sick of the UK

In her quest for pop fame with All Saints, Nicole Appleton would probably have attended the opening of an envelope to get her face in the papers.

Now, the singer is so tired of media attention, she and fiancè Liam Gallagher may move to her native Canada.

They were 'very close' to fleeing Britain, she said yesterday.

'I had my uncle looking for places for us to live in Toronto. It's gotten that serious,' added the 28-year-old, who was born in Ontario to British parents.

Appleton said the fact she and sister Natalie were promoting their latest album would probably keep them here for a while.

But she added: 'There's always going to be that option. I mean, it was always Ireland or Canada - one of the two.' She and Gallagher laughed at their press coverage but did not like it when it became 'too personal', she added.
