Nicole's night out with Conor
Nicole Kidman, a single mother since her split from Tom Cruise, took their son to cheer on his favourite basketball team in Los Angeles.
The Moulin Rouge star and adopted six-year-old Conor saw the LA Lakers beat the Utah Jazz. Kidman, 35, who also adopted a daughter, Isabella, with Cruise, said recently: "I used to take my hat off to a woman who is a single mother and now that person is me."
According to some reports, she is to fight for sole custody of the children. However, according to the divorce petition filed in Los Angeles in February, Cruise applied for joint custody.
His ex-wife has indicated she she would prefer to live in her native Australia, but accepts that it is better for the children "at this time" to stay close to Cruise in Los Angeles.
