Neo-Nazis jailed in Russia for killing spree

12 April 2012

Nine neo-Nazis have been jailed for up to 23 years for their part in a killing spree in Russia.

Moscow city court found the group — some of whom are teenagers — guilty today of six murders and one assault. They called themselves "White Wolves" and formed on Adolf Hitler's birthday to "exterminate" non-Russians.

The killers stabbed Asians and other non-Slavs to death, often videoing the attacks and posting them online.

The investigation into the attacks has charged 12 neo-Nazis with 11 murders and one assault since April 2007.
