Murdered masseuse advertised in paper

A woman who was stabbed to death in the bathroom of her mansion offered "luxury massage" services in the local paper, it was revealed today.

Detectives are still hunting for witnesses who saw anything suspicious in the exclusive area of Poole, Dorset, where the body of masseuse Angela Chiu was found in her mansion home on Friday.

Police have said there was no sign of forced entry to the property where the 48-year-old is understood to live with her teenage daughter.

An advert placed by Ms Chiu in the Bournemouth Daily Echo newspaper reads: "Luxury massage. Sauna and steam, private practice at Sandbanks".

An answerphone message left by Ms Chiu speaking in hushed tones offers her services at £100 an hour.

The message states: "This is Angela Chiu. Massages are available from 11am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday.

"The practice is situated in my own home at 80 Haven Road, Sandbanks, Poole, and there is parking in the drive.

"Full body massage takes one hour and costs £100. Two and three hour massages are also available in the sauna and Jacuzzi

A post mortem examination carried out on the body on Saturday by Home Office pathologist Dr Basil Purdue showed that she died of stab wounds.

After Ms Chiu's body was found on Friday, the detached property was sealed off and put under a police cordon while scenes of crime officers and Dr Purdue examined the scene, according to a police spokesman.

Police said the victim was last seen alive on Wednesday and they are appealing for witnesses who saw anything suspicious occurring in the area between Wednesday and Friday.
