Monster appeal for M&S

HIGH STREET stores group Marks & Spencer's latest sales initiative involves an eight-foot furry monster and an eyeball-on-legs. Following the success of Harry Potter toys and clothes this Christmas, M&S hopes to cash in on popular kids movie Monsters Inc. It bought a giant-sized Sully (the huge blue and purple thing) and his one-eyed assistant, Mike, from filmmaker Disney and has been taking them on store tours.

The odd couple are spending a week in Kensington, London. The garish creatures appeal to children, but may shock traditional customers.
