Man stabbed to death for Gucci handbag

A man was stabbed to death when he was robbed of a Gucci handbag yards from his home.

Andrew Pratt, 43, was knifed in the heart and staggered to his front door before collapsing.

Paramedics treated him at the scene in Northlands Place, Camberwell, on Saturday night. He was taken to King's College Hospital where he died.

One witness, who asked not to be named, said: "It was a robbery. He was walking up to his house but not in a good way. He was injured in his chest. There was a guy with his hood up who just walked away."
