Make-up artist cleared by court

21 November 2012

A make-up artist accused of carrying a terrified television producer on the bonnet of her car has been cleared of all charges.

Beauty expert Teresa Fairminer, 59, who took care of the Duchess of Cornwall's hair and make-up for her wedding to Prince Charles, walked free from Isleworth Crown Court.

She was found not guilty of driving her silver Mini Cooper dangerously in Chiswick High Road, west London on March 9 and causing criminal damage to TV boss Dominic Moran's £600 Prada spectacles.

Fairminer told the jury during the week-long trial that she was the target of a campaign of humiliation orchestrated by Mr Moran, who she described as "vindictive".

"This case has affected all of my life all of this year. I am my business," she said.
