Luxury cinema opens for business at Leicester Square's W Hotel

4 December 2013

With luxury cinemas popping up all over the capital these days, something really needs to set a screening room apart to get noticed. Enter the W Film Club on Leicester Square – a gourmet movie experience in a cosy 39-seater cinema.

W London has launched a series of film screenings, welcoming guests to indulge in a bit of luxury every fortnight by making use of their exclusive Screening Room.

The series will see a host of new releases, including the latest Irvine Welsh adaptation Filth and the reimagining of horror classic Carrie, being show alongside mouth-watering food and drinks packages, including platters from in-house restaurant Spice Market.

With state-of-the-art HD technology, award-wining dining and a well-stocked cocktail bar in the form of the W Lounge, it might be time to ditch the Orange Wednesdays in favour of a bit of pampering. If that wasn't enough, the popcorn is free.

Upcoming screenings include Carrie, December 3, One Chance, December 17, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, January 14, and American Hustle, January 28. A variety of packages are available, with tickets from £15.
