Lottery jackpot remains unclaimed

12 April 2012

National Lottery players were today urged to check their tickets after a jackpot prize of £3,786,303 remained unclaimed.

Organisers said the winning mid-week ticket was bought in the Dover area of Kent.

The six numbers drawn on Wednesday December 2 were: 2, 19, 22, 25, 34 and 47.

The lucky ticketholder has until 5.30pm on Monday, May 31, next year to claim their prize.

If no-one comes forward before the deadline, the prize money, plus all the interest generated, will go to the Good Causes fund.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - this amazing jackpot prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life, especially with Christmas only days away.

"We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa - someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.

"We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win and so start 2010 with a real bang."

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
