Kylie loves diva rivals

13 April 2012

Kylie Minogue has insisted she would never say a bad word about her fellow pop divas.

Last week the Aussie singer reportedly called herself "bigger than Beyonce" and criticised the raunchy videos of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

But her spokesman said today: "Kylie would like to clarify that she has never criticised Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce - or, in fact, any of her contemporaries - and wishes each artist the very best.

"Kylie is a fan of these artists and would never criticise them. She has never been in the habit of criticising fellow artists, as anyone who has ever met her would know.

"It's upsetting for her that people would make such false claims, hurting not only Kylie but other artists as well."

Britney won the battle of the pop princesses at the weekend when she topped the chart with her single Toxic, her first number one in four years.

Kylie's Red Blooded Woman only made it to number five, behind DJ Casper, Peter Andre and George Michael.
