Jessie Ware has been nominated for the Mercury Prize and two BRIT awards — but says she still uses the night bus
The 28-year-old singer from Clapham also revealed that she has moved back into her mother’s house with her boyfriend Sam while they try to get onto the property ladder.
Ware released her debut album Devotion last year. She said: “I haven’t really had time to spend much yet, and we are always arguing about money. He never wants me to get cabs so I have to take the night bus.”
Jessie Ware will be at Cutty Cargo London in Brick Lane tomorrow.
